The aviation industry witnesses exponential annual growth in Asia alone, and requires trained and experienced airline managers to pilot its demands. Nanyang Technological University (NTU) has partnered with the International Air Transport Authority (IATA) to design a curriculum specifically for aviation professionals. This is the first time that IATA is collaborating with an Asian university to develop and upgrade human capital for the global aviation industry.
Participants will attend residential on the NTU Singapore campus and a three-week segment at IATA’s Training and Development Institute in Geneva, Switzerland, where they analyse hot-bed issues. This full-time 4-week program addresses key aviation concerns such as:

Our class profile for the Aviation & Air Transport AMP includes exceptional senior managers with more than 8 years’ experience in the aviation and air transportsectors. They usually have a minimum of 5 years’ managerial experience and have an average age of 37. While majority of our participants are Singaporeans, we have also seen many international students.
Established in 1945, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) is an international industry trade group of airlines, with international headquarter in Quebec, Canada, executive offices in Geneva, Switzerland and operations in more than 150 countries.
The association currently comprises 240 airlines from 126 countries, which comprise 84% of the total air traffic. In line with its overarching mission to represent, lead and serve the airline industry, IATA spearheads numerous activities designed to provide safe and secure transportation to its passengers. The designation of airport codes, travel agent accreditation, cargo accreditation and myriad member services are among IATA’s activities.
